6th MayOHUA AGM 13 June

The AGM of OHUA is taking place on Thursday June 13 at 7pm.
The location is OUP, Jordon Hill, Oxford OX2 8EF. OHUA members should aim to attend, and each Oxfordshire club should ensure that they send a representative.

8th AprSummer League

As you will know, the annual summer league is scheduled to start in mid May at BRN, and it's the perfect opportunity for all umpires to gain valuable coaching, and for new umpires to get their L1 assessment completed.

We will have a crack team of coaches to support you, so please make yourself available, and encourage those new umpires in your club who have completed the L1 Course but are yet to be assessed, to come along.

2nd MarNational League Development Panel pass for Chris O'Hagan

Congratulations to Chris O'Hagan for passing his Level 3 assessment between St. Albans and Bedford in the women's Investec Conference East, moving from the development panel to a full member of the NPUA!

17th FebNational League Candidate success for Huw Richards

Another success for a Berkshire umpire this year as Huw Richards passes his Level 3 Candidate assessment, between Team Bath Buccaneers and Fareham in Conference West, to become a National League umpire and member of the NPUA.

22nd Dec (2018)Rule Changes - NOT to be implemented until 2019-20 season

As you may have seen, FIH have recently published a number of rule changes.
England Hockey has confirmed that these are NOT to be implemented for the remainder of the current season and they will only come into effect domestically for 2019-20.

5th Nov (2017)Joining Berkshire HUA

Any umpire wishing to join BHUA should email the Membership Secretary on with the following details:

Name, Contact email address, Contact number, EH Number and status e.g. Level 1 unassessed, Date of Birth and Club Association (if any).

There is an annual membership fee of £10 (Free for U18s) and payment details will be provided via return email.

If a Red Card or MMO is issued to an offender who plays for (or coaches) an Oxfordshire club, the Red Card / MMO form should be sent to the Oxfordshire HA County Disciplinary Officer (CDO).
